The Pallet Shuttle is a semi-automatic high-density solution where an electrically powered shuttle moves along rails in the storage channels to load and unload pallets. Everything is operated by an operator, who places the shuttle into the rack with a forklift and controls it via a tablet.

With the Pallet Shuttle, a higher storage capacity is achieved, the flow of incoming and outgoing goods is increased, and the number of stored SKUs is higher compared to other compact solutions, such as drive-in racks. The system is also available in a fully automated version using warehouse cranes or shuttles.

ADVANTAGES OF THE PALLET SHUTTLE SYSTEM

• Save time and increase productivity: tasks are quickly completed, and the forklift works from the aisle, eliminating the need to drive into the racks. This allows products to be loaded and unloaded faster, increasing the number of cycles per hour.
• Space-saving: storage channels can be more than 60 meters deep, and the openings between levels are minimal, increasing storage capacity.
• Cost-saving: since space is optimally utilized, the floor area can be minimized. This saves on investment costs, and in cold storage rooms, the surface area to be cooled—and thus energy consumption—is reduced.
• Multiple SKUs: SKUs are stored per channel, rather than per full aisle, allowing for greater warehouse diversification.
• Compatible with LIFO and FIFO: products can be stored according to LIFO (Last In, First Out) or FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Easy to use: all system functions are controlled with a tablet that has an intuitive user interface.
• Safety: since forklifts do not drive into the racks, the metal structure is not damaged, and the risk of accidents is significantly reduced.
